MOBILE MECHANICS VS. TRADITIONAL REPAIR SHOPS

A white truck is parked on the side of the road next to a white suv.

When it comes to repairing your car, you have a few choices: you can take it to a traditional repair shop, visit a mobile mechanic, or try to do the repairs yourself. Each option has its own set of pros and cons, so how do you decide which is the best for you?

Traditional Repair Shops

-Many shops have an on-site diagnostic center

-Parts are usually high quality and come with a warranty

Cons:

-Can be expensive, especially if there are multiple repairs needed

-May not always have the parts needed in stock

-Can take a while to get an appointment

Mobile Mechanics

Pros:

-Can come to you – no need to drive your car anywhere

- Affordable, especially compared to traditional repair shops

- Many mechanics are ASE certified and use only high-quality parts

No Cons with Mechanics on Wheelz:

-May not have as much experience with certain types of repairs as traditional shops do (Mechanics on Wheelz does and is Master Certified

Doing the Repairs Yourself

Pros:

-Can save a lot of money

-You have control over the repairs and can choose which parts to use

-Can be a fun project if you enjoy working on cars

Cons:

-May not have the skills or knowledge needed to do the repairs properly

-Could end up causing more damage to your car if done incorrectly

-Parts may not come with a warranty if you purchase them yourself

There is no right or wrong answer when deciding which option is best for repairing your car. It ultimately comes down to what you are comfortable with
